We asked Aetherfall about the inspiration behind Halfstep:

Well, the main inspiration was trying to get a proper “Brazilian Bass” sounding track. It was something on our to-do lists (musically), and when BRASSIC showed us the original demo for Halfstep, we knew it was finally time to scratch that one off the bucket list!
